Regina Medoro was born and
bred in Queens, New York. She has been painting and drawing
in San Francisco for over 10 years.
Medoro treats all of her work as research and her studio as
a laboratory.
Through her art she attempts to embody simplicity, symmetry
and unity out of the sensations life bombards us with.
With each work, she extends an object and figure into a theme
and emotion, creating a deep structure that has no simple answer
or preferred, clear point of view.
Medoro's art breaks free of static experience and attempts to
possess it; she is more concerned with the various interpretations
and illusions of an experience, object and emotion.
